So this one time at the BAFTA’s the royals were there, and Mary Louise didn’t get to meet them because “Jennifer Lopez shoved me. Oops I shouldn’t have said that.” Then she slurped her ice coffee, chewed on her straw and smiled and you were like “DAMMIT Mary Louise – why are you so consistently adorable even when you are the worst?” and she said she didn’t know and then had sex with someone – possibly your dad.

I wanted to say that behavior like this is passive-aggressive in the extreme (although I love that J L is as rude as I imagine her being) and like, all she had to do in the moment was going, “Excuse Mrs. Anthony,” in a firm, warm, commanding tone and then watch her shirk off, but I’ll be real: I’d totally pull this sort of shit if I were famous all the time.
