Lost Girl Returns to Canada; Still Full of Bisexual Succubi

I hope you clicked on this because you read that title and were like, “oh no some girl was kidnapped and returned to Canada and is now a nympho or something!”

In fact I was referring to the show Lost Girl. It is probably the best show on television. That is me speaking from my fangirl and vagina hearts rather than my I AM A FEMINIST and critic hearts. This is a show about Kate Beckinsale and her Ukrainian refugee bff fighting motherfucking FAIRIES with the help of the gay werewolf from Tudors and a blond lesbian doctor who has difficulty acting but looks fabulous in clothes.

Really fabulous.

Kate Beckinsale might actually be actress Anna Silk. If you’re like me your mind goes to Silk Stockings and you always hear saxophones play softcore porn music whenever she appears. Of note is that Anna Silk plays a SUCCUBUS. The show mocks vampires. They saw the appeal and then went, “but what if we threw out the murder angst and biohazard that is bloodsucking and had more sex and a different kind of murder angst.”

Anna Silk’s Bo (not to be confused with the guy who KNOWS) needs sex to survive, but if she sexes with people they die. This is clearly infinitely better than getting some stupid teeth that make all vampires lisp and sucking on hobos necks. If Bo was in dire straights, she’d have to bang hobos while crying as she killed them. HOBO BANGING POSSIBILITIES.

Also the show is actually kind of genuinely maybe good sometimes and full of Canadian “hey that guy” actors and knowledgeable facts about fairy mythos.

The new season starts on Showcase shortly and the entire series will be coming to America at some point in the future….if SyFy stops screwing around. SYFY PLEASE HURRY. I HAVE MY RECAPS OF SEASON ONE READY TO GO.
