  • Jennifer Hudson on ‘Precious’, Khloe Kardashian’s Paternity, and Sinead O’Connor Seeks Psychiatrist

    1. Jennifer Hudson would like you to know that she did not turn down the eponymous (fav word alert!) role in Precious because of the weight thing. That is what she’d like you to know. Unfortunately in her book she mentions turning it down for just this reason. Which is silly. If she’d straight up been like “That shit was too real for me,  Mo’Nique is frightening and I feared constant sing-offs challenges from Mimi,” I would’ve been like, ‘Fair, Jennifer Hudson.’ and then I would have sung a duet with myself from the past.     2. Tabloids are blowing up with news that Khloe Kardashian isn’t actually a Kardashian, and that her dad was someone else – and this time it’s coming from ex-step moms. Classy. I guess a good gossip writer would be like “that would explain why I’ve always liked her – she’s not a Kardashian!” but sadly you don’t have a good gossip writer, you’ve got me, and instead I’m just sort like, ‘that is a gross thing for anyone to say about anyone – especially when the dad in question isn’t around to defend himself. Plus, say what you will, the Kardashians are known for being ten kinds of tight as a family, and I can’t imagine how ick it must be to constantly have your paternity questioned just because you are taller than your sisters. My dad is bald, but he’s still my dad. RANT DONE. [TMZ]
    3. Sinead! Sinead! Sinead! This is my rallying cry. My favorite person is catching all manner of flack for taking to the Twitter to request help from her followers in finding a psychiatrist because she recognized she was in danger and needed help. Yeah. In the states this is what we take issue with. If she’d  wound up with a new haircut beating car with her umbrella it would be funny, but calmly stating a need for urgent medical attention – cuh-razy! Sinead O’Connor please be my best friend.
