Sexy Sunday: Sara Ramirez

It has been eons since we did a lady on Sexy Sunday which just isn’t fair to all you lady lovers.

And after that last episode of Grey’s Anatomy I can think of no better lady that Sara Ramirez.

The woman is all kinds of covered up and just winking and still sexy as hell.

She’s frequently one of the highlights of Grey’s Anatomy and has been since she first appeared on the show waaaay back in season 2. And how did she get cast on the show when her biggest claim to fame on IMDB was as a day player in Spider-Man?

She won a Tony in play the Lady of the Lake in Spamalot and was so fantastic and endearing ABC told her to choose a show to guest in. Woman was incredibly smart and chose the show full of fascinating women of color that also happened to be the highest rated show on television.

Over the years she’s gone from the weird chick who walks around the house naked, pees in front of ladies flossing and then doesn’t wash her hands, to one of the most interesting and captivating characters on Grey’s Anatomy.

Her role grew so much that a lot of fans actually call the seventh season “Callie’s Anatomy” after her character. Probably because of things like that episode devoted entirely to her brain.

A woman who’s great at comedy and drama and singing and also very savvy professionally? There are few things sexier people.

Now if you’ll excuse me I’m going to go back to wishing she’d be cast as the Witch in the new film adaptation of Into the Woods
