I love me some Harry Potter. I am, in fact, working on a semiautobiographical tale of a teen fangirl perhaps titled “I Want To Bang Harry Potter.” But back in college apparently I was really vocal about my love of the franchise. I don’t remember being especially talkative about it but damned if people didn’t take every opportunity to give me crap with faded golden Harry Potter labels stuck to it. I got jelly beans, pens, action figures, more than one blanket, and once, a bottle of shampoo.
Yeah I don’t get it either. THANKS GUYS. My dog now deeply enjoys all those blankets. One has Hermione on it (this is pre-hot Hermione as made famous by Emma Watson) and her teeth are huge, but also the blanket is fleece and not of very high quality and thus her teeth have this weird 3D effect going on. Sometimes I stare at it and wish that 3D Harry Potter films were a thing.
That’s not true. I never wish that.
But Warner Brothers assumes that everyone wishes they had 3D Harry Potter so the new MEGAEPIC RELEASE FOR YOUR SOUL release of all eight Harry Potter films will include the final two films in 2D and 3D.
Also it is thirty one Blu-Ray/DVD combo discs. Eighteen discs of the films and thirteen of special features. But don’t worry. They’re not those crummy special features like the “fly Hedwig through a firey ring using your DVD remote.” When you’re charging $350 you best be breaking out the good special features. So there are loads of documentaries. And rumor has it* Rupert Grint will drive his ice cream truck to your house and watch the films with you and talk about how stoned he was in any given scene.
Also included in the massive release? A giant chest to hold all your Harry Potter dvds. Because everyone wants to be the wang with a giant flipping Harry Potter chest on their DVD shelf. If you display this thing you’re probably an asshole.
This glorious release I kind of really want now will be released sometime later this year, but you can follow the link below and pre-order it now. You won’t be the only one. Despite the pricetag it’s already ranked in the top 100 DVD bestsellers on Amazon.
