There Is Going To Be A Sabrina The Teenage Witch Superhero Movie. Seriously.

True story. For the first season of Buffy I constantly confused it with Sabrina: The Teenage Witch. Specifically I confused the bitchy brunette antagonists. So every time I watched Sabrina I was deeply disappointed when Libby was cartoonishly evil versus Cordelia actually having a little heart under the superb bitchiness.

In fact, it was the finale of the first season of Buffy and Cordelia heroically figuring out that shit was weird and driving into the library to save everyone versus Libby continuing to be an ass that helped me to decide which show I would watch.

Because I was 14 and felt Sabrina and Buffy were both quality.

And fun fact? Sabrina actually lasted just as many seasons as Buffy. No. Fo reals. That happened. They both started in the 1996-1997 season and both ended in the 2002-2003 season. Is your mind blown?

But yeah, waaaaay before Sabrina was a show starring Clarissa Explains It All it was a comic and because comics have the an inalienable right to a movie adaptation it’s getting turned into a film.

Where Sabrina is a superhero.

And the best part? Salem the sardonic robotic kitty? Will be a handsome prince transformed into a cat and in love with Sabrina.
