  • Who Is Staying And Going On Grey’s Anatomy

    We’re coming in on the final few episodes of the eighth season of Grey’s Anatomy and thanks to some professional spoiler people Tumblr and Twitter are freakin’ like a deacon (do deacons freak? I don’t want to see my old deacon freak).

    So I’ve put together a handy list of where people are. Who is potentially staying and who is potentially going. Read this list and take comfort or start worrying for your favorite character.

    This may or may not be an excuse for me to post pictures of shirtless dudes.

    Definitely staying. Still contracted. Only leaving if suddenly won a lot of money, adopted a baby after being in a hit summer comedy and turning into a jerk, revealed themselves to be a homophobe, or entered a parking lot after fighting with Callie.

    Who could be going because their contracts are up but have yet to express a desire to leave so they’re probably staying.

    • Justin Chambers
    • Justin Chambers’ tiny nipples

    Who has expressed a desire to leave but hasn’t confirmed one way or the other.

    • Ellen Pompeo (though recently said she wants to stay)
    • Patrick Dempsey (though Transformers 3 didn’t open film doors so could stay)
    • Sandra Oh (practically perfect in every way but mum on what she plans to do)

    If I were a gambling woman my money would be on Sandra Oh’s departure. Who is your money on?

    Jessica Capshaw doesn’t have to win a lot of money. She’s Steven Spielberg’s stepdaughter.

    That said, I hope she stays anyway, because I love Arizona. And Callie!

    I would definitely miss Sandra Oh/Cristina Yang if she left. She has such spectacular talent. She needs an Emmy. Right now. Just don’t even let them vote on it anymore, because she has earned it.

    I’m very nervously waiting confirmation for everyone one way or the other.

    Yeah I think she’ll be fine. The only one from the top list I’d even think about saying could be a possibility is Eric Dane. But that’s a big long shot.
