  • ‘Misfits’ Star Socha Fired, Jailed, Ironically Sentenced?

    1. Oh dear lord. Misfits is a great show, I love it. I love all of the actors in it. Hence me writing an article on this very site (roughly a million years ago) about one of its award-winning stars, Lauren Socha. The very same Lauren Socha was just fired, after being arrested for a racially motivated physical attack on a taxi driver. No excuse! Totally gross! Very upsetting to hear. That all said, I managed to derive a modicum of solace when I learned that her sentencing would include community service. God willing she will be struck by lighting and made less racist and terrible. [HuffPo]
    2. Are you having a case of the Mondays that only the finest crack rock could assuage? Well I am not a drug dealer, but I do have access to a video of Emeril Lagasse dancing to Gangsta’s Paradise which is basically the second best option. [TMZ]
    3. Furthering her bid to become my favorite person ever, Helena Bonham Carter announced to Daniel Radcliffe (ha ha) that she hasn’t married Tim Burton because she is lazy. This is relationship talk I get behind. She also suggests getting houses next door to each and having them connected so you can have your own space which is essentially the greatest thing I have ever heard given that my need for solitude drives me to occasionally banish even my cats from my bedroom while bellowing “For fuck’s sake why won’t you all just leave me aloooone!” It’s very dramatic and later I give them treats.
