The Mindy Project Looks Like Grey’s Anatomy and The Office Had A Baby

Mindy Kaling generally tears it up on The Office. Or that is what I hear from friends who watch The Office. I do know she tears it up when she writes scathing critiques of how Hollywood treats women or delightful books about her life.

Her newest project, aptly titled The Mindy Project follows a sexy young doctor who fails at life, like Grey’s Anatomy; but with more jokes and scenes of supreme awkwardness, like The Office.

Also there are attractive dudes.

And drunk diving into pools.

Basically it looks like the best, even though the trailer below is cut to look an awful lot like those romantic comedies Kaling has criticized in the past. Should be exceptionally interesting.
