Doing what Wicked did for the Wicked Witch of the West Maleficent follows the shape shifting evil witch queen on her journey from regular lady to force of darkness who curses babies for fun.

And Angelina Jolie is playing her.

And now there’s an actual photo of her as Maleficent instead of yet another crummy Photoshop bit (though it does look a little photoshopped).

Maleficent appears March 14, 2014. Presumably there will be a dragon.
