That would be Nathan Fillion, and Tom Lenck…Andrew from Buffy…only looking like Ryan Gosling? Like I’m not the only one seeing a resemblance right?
According to ancient Whedonite knowledge dating back to the time before Joyce’s passing I know that Joss Whedon likes to invite attractive actors and friends over to his house for drinks and readings of plays. But last year he got bored just getting wasted in his house with Alyson Hannigan and Nathan Fillion and the collected works of the Bard of Avon and decided, in the grand tradition of Rourke and Garland, to put on a show!
So he shot Much Ado About Nothing in twelve days using a cast culled from his stable of actors. That means Nathan Fillion on hand as a clever constable who is a bit of a fool and Amy Acker and Alexis Denisof harnessing their nerdy chemistry to play the best will they/won’t they couple ever, Beatrice and Benedick.
The film premieres at the Toronto Film Festival and for you Avengers fans, Clark Gregg is in it playing Amy Acker’s super attractive uncle, Leonato.
