Cap Could Be Making Out With Annie’s Boobs, Lady Sybil or Khaleesi’s Dragons In Captain America 2

Well I guess this makes it official. Hayley Atwell probably won’t be returning as Peggy Carter to pistol whip Nazis in Captain America 2 because they’re casting the female lead and, you know, they wouldn’t be doing that if it was her.

I’m heart broken because the romance that blossomed between Peggy and the Cap was innocent and sweet and really heartbreaking in the end.

Because he turned into a Capsicle and by the time he was thawed she was old/dead.

So for the new film they’re casting an unknown female lead that sources (okay Deadline) say is likely Sharon Carter.

She would be Peggy’s niece/sister depending on what comic you read. Yeah. I don’t see how that wouldn’t turn into them both feeling like skeevy consolation prizes if they hooked up but hey! They can talk about how awesome Peggy is!

Five women have appeared on the short list for the role. Imogen Poots (giggle I know I did), Teresa Palmer, Sybil Crawley (okay the actress is Jessica Brown Findlay), Khaleesi (okay her name is Emelia Clarke) and Allison Brie (forever Annie which leads to Annie’s Boobs) are up for the role. Please note how they are all British or do impeccable British accents in Five Year Engagement. Thus furthering the theory they’ll be playing Peggy’s niece/sister/OH MAN WHAT IF THEY’RE HER DAUGHTER THAT WOULD BE LIKE PETER AND WENDY’S DAUGHTER JANE ONLY HOT BECAUSE NOT A BUNCH OF KIDS.

I digress. That’s who is up for the role. They’ll be joining Anthony Mackie as Falcon and Sebastian Stan as Bucky (spoiler! he didn’t die in Captain America apparently). Also ScarJo will be there as Black Widow and she will be avengin’ shit and cementing this as the prettiest cast of actors I really like ever (she might also make out with Sebastian Stan because in comics their characters have a thing).

Okay. I’m done. Also to gird my loins for this movie’s release April 4, 2014 and decide which lady I want to be making out with Cap. If you have a preference let me know so we can debate it geekily or nod in agreement sagely.
