God bless Gary Oldman.

Let me back up. Here in Brooklyn, New York, the home of FemPop HQ, it’s dreary and snowy yet again. Snow makes us all wish we were five again and blissed out by the white stuff. Wouldn’t it be nice if we could muster up something other than deep and soul-crushing sorrow at the prospect of having to face another icy day —  #februpressionyall. Seriously, why did Subway decide to celebrate this foul months with sandwiches? That’s just a travesty. Even if sandwiches are “delicious” — DANCE FOR ME, SANDWICH:

ANYWAY — my sandwich rant is now at an end, and we can return to my ranting about the current month. Lucky us.

What I mean to say is, we take our doses of mid-winter happy where we can find them. Today’s comes to us courtesy of Mr. Gary Oldman. Although I take serious issue with his character in Robocop (which everyone should see — more on that in a later post) GO is the OG. He also every so often breaks from the rigors of serious acting to quietly rap Ke$ha’s Timber and fill our world-weary hearts with gladness. May it do the same for you.
