Its perfectly in character for HG Wells to flee and for Myka to resist revealing her feelings. But after the epic lure the show built leading up to this it feels less like a continuation of a story and more like that time they got Carrie to come to prom just so they could dump pig’s blood on her.

So Regina flees and Snow weeps for the mother figure destroyed and her own innocence violated and it never rings quite true, because this show has, at some point, decided that making Snow White/Mary Margaret anything more than a foil for Regina and a wet blanket for Emma would be intolerable.

While the show is setting up a little love triangle it’s also addressing a problem stewing all season, and that’s Arizona’s self-image. It is in the dirt and has been since her leg was amputated. And now here is a woman that doesn’t know her and finds her attractive.
